On random invitation, we ended up at Knuckleheads Saloon for the Saturday afternoon jam.  Of course, I snapped a few random shots.  Click for a closer look.

It has been a little while since I was able to document a performance, and I jumped at this opportunity.  The performance was held at the KU Edwards Campus, Regents Center, in the Regnier Auditorium. The performers were two young women that had been studying various styles of Indian performance, classical and traditional dance, from Bharatanayam to Bollywood. 

Prior to each of the performances, a brief introduction to the particular dance, set the stage for understanding its full meaning.   It was an enjoyable and educational afternoon, to say the least.

Here is the latest addition to the family; she is half yellow labrador and half fence-jumper.  The mother abandoned the pups, or some such thing, and we happened to be looking for a friend for our other dog.  Click for a closer look in a new window.
